Hello Fellow Science Forum-ers (?)

Hello. My name is Jon Burgess. I am a senior in high school in central PA. I am taking AP Calc AB right now, which is how I found this site (through Calc extra credit). I am interested in understanding why things happen and making connections between different subjects (for example, physics and calculus). So, that's all, if anyone actually reads this whole thing and cares.

Welcome to Hypography Jon!

I'm looking forward, as you get deeper into more controversial threads, to watching you debate yourself. It should be great fun.

Just kidding. I think you'll enjoy it here. It can be very enlightening.

See ya 'round.

It seems to me that people tend to prefer to believe what they want to be real or true, despite evidence to the contrary.

When what you believe is refuted by evidence, you are faced with a choice.
