i actually joined the site a few days ago, but got rather involved in a web of threads and never made it back to post an intro. there are a LOT of topics and threads on this site! i look forward to perusing the site.

i don't have a science background (..other than serious interest) so it's safe to say i expect to contribute to the forum when i can.

now i'm off to do some reading.

Welcome iviolet, I hope you find lots of intersting ideas and give us some food for thought as well. It seems we have some of the same hobbies

i've been reading threads since i posted my intro and i just heard the brain bell go ding. time to give it a rest. perusing the site was an enjoyable experience and already i look foward to resuming my quest for knowledge.

should i bring a dish? some food for thought?
i really didn't think about bringing a dish.
