Hello all, just joined!

Hello all, just joined!

I am interested in exploring ecologically integrated, relatively low-tech, and sustainable solutions to energy and food security issues.

In particular, today, I am exploring biochar.

Am looking forward to getting to know you all!

Nika

Re: Hello all, just joined!

thanks all! its definitely an exciting time .. from the reading I have done (prelim) Terra preta is simply fascinating. As a cell biologist, I see this as a living potential solution and one that is so complex that it may have the resilience and robustness to handle many different ecological settings. Gotta say, its not a “discovery” so much as listening to the wisdom of the earth and our ancestors.

I have a lot to learn yet, that’s for sure.

welcome to hypography, the only place you know, where the term "relatively low tech" does not exist
