My name is Rick Raboin. My nickname in HS was rabs hence my log in name. I'm in my 50's and an elementary teacher. I have always been interested in science. Lately I have taken an interest in the "big" questions dealing with the universe and physics. As a result I have questions that I thought I should join a science forum to see if I can get help from the scientific community. Reading some of the threads in Hypography shows me I am in the right place. It would seem the members come in all levels of knowledge and expertise. It is going to be a pleasure to participate in some threads and learn from the members.

I feel I can learn from anyone and everyone and hope to prove to those in Hypography that I have a fair and open mind.
