Hi Dov. I am not a moderator, but I play one online. I believe you have to post 10 replies to existing threads before you earn the capability to start one afresh.

Actually, no. You should be able to post a thread after you have made your initial post and then waited for some 20 minutes or so (at most - this is the time it takes for our system to update your status).

Dov, we always try to welcome people and make them feel at home as best we can. With the crazy lunatics that call themselves moderators running around all over the place and jabbering "science speak" it's hard to separate the Lunaticks from the Ingenieurs but you learn to see the difference eventually.
And beware of Turtle. He lives close to a volcano and probably breathes toxic stuff every day!
