Re: Beer

Another rather interesting Germaner Llerige

This time a medium ale, it matures in a bottle, i like the bottle craftsmanship, it almost forces some aeration of the beer, just due to the long snout there. Ale is an older style ale, though i have to say that its rather easy to drink, though its far from a smoothly polished Coopers Vintage, but it almost doesn't have to be. It's pretty damn hoppy too, oh and the bottles are numbered and dated from filling. I was rather happy with it

found a shot of the bottle online too, see second pic

Re: Beer

Just opened a Belhaven Scottish Ale.

It's malty on the front end. Somewhat creamy in the middle, with a nice nutty finish. A very slight hoppy note after the nuttiness dissipates. Not bad. I tend to prefer my beers much hoppier, but I'm enjoying this as it has a very full, well rounded character and gorgeous amber color.
