Television!

Oh God! I moved and I don't cable TV anymore, just broadcast TV, Talk about a waste land! I think the apocolypse happend and no one told me! No history channel! No science channels, no scifi channels, all I get are old has beens dancing or people not able to answer questions a fifth grader can answer. the other night I actually started to enjoy watching as someone squirmed in the hot seat as they were asked questions that truthfull answers would ruin their lives but they would get money. Hell has taken over!

Re: Television!

Get the dish. You'll like it better anyway.

I never really liked the reception I got from cable. Every channel is crystal clear with satellite. And I was very surprised how bad the weather had to be to knock it out. I live in Missouri where there are lots of t-storms. It has to be a pretty big thunderhead with heavy rains to interrupt the service, and then it's never been for very long.

Geez, I sound like I work for DirecTV.

It seems to me that people tend to prefer to believe what they want to be real or true, despite evidence to the contrary.

When what you believe is refuted by evidence, you are faced with a choice.
