So what does your insurance policy say?

Mmk, so i have been reading my insurance policy (no not just because i was bored). It turns out there are some interesting things in there, so i decided, to post what i have so far found in mine, and see what other people see in their insurance policies (any insurance policy).

These are findings from my auto insurance policy...

It turns out, that my medical bills will not be covered if the cause of injury is a nuclear weapon (including accidental detanation of one)... so no more driving those around... If i get injured in my car as a result of war, both declared or undeclared, civil war, insurrection, rebellion or revolution.... so i guess no starting those either (shikes )

Furthermore if i get injured as a result of a nuclear reaction, radiation or even radioactive contamination (i mean come on now... can i do anything fun? )

I will also not be compensated for damaging my vehicle while deliberately trying to hit someone or something. or get hit by my own car...

Well these are my findings.... now, go, read your insurance coverage and excepts, and if you see anything peculiar, pleas post them here (if nothing else, this exercise will make some people who have not read their insurance policy, understand just what their insurance covers)

It also does not have to be a car insurance, any insurance or for that matter any policy will do. If you find something interesting, I give you props already

They sure do cover their bases eh?

It's pretty strange (and ironic) that they will not cover damage to your car *if it hits you*.

I'll take a look at my policies and see if I can find similarly interesting exceptions.

I've been wondering about that too...

So if you ever get carjacked, be *sure* to get out of the way when they're stealing your car or the insurance company is completely off the hook! Hey they could claim that because you "touched" the car, while it was moving that they have no liability! What a field day a lawyer could have with that clause! Does it define the word "hit?"

Understand that legal and illegal are political, and often arbitrary, categorizations; use and abuse are medical, or clinical, distinctions,
