[Turtle]

Turtle is as turtle does,
and hiding is and always was,
one of the turtle's best defense,
against the tide of time.

Neither hide nor run away
from those who see a different way
No malintent if words seem terse
How can we grow without new verse?

No one stands so tall to be
immune to what they cannot see.
If light invades a darker space
don't close the door to then erase

a mystery that others fear
to see in print, or either hear
invisible
but always near.

Up from my cot this morning rose,
and rubbing eyes put on my clothes,
and stumbling from the coffee pot,
took Beaker's words to my own thought.

The turtle, deep in waters blue
and deep in thought that comes to you
reflection of the deepest kind
can fill your soul and free your mind.

Spitefull;

Those that love to hate,
will dig an early grave.
They enjoy hurting others,
They just can't behave.

One day the bill will come,
for all the pain they've delt.
No chance to make amends,
They'll know what other felt.
