Quatrain Corner

[Turtle]

A quatrain of quatrains,
this quatrain precedes,
spiling down my page,
like so may beads of dew.

these eyes are black,
like milk and blue dye.
a swirl of clouds and summer fingers,
pointing at the sky.

a diamond ring shines through a tinted car window,
blinding.
sped by me as she laughed in agree,
a simple trait of modesty.

laughs,
laughing,
laughter,
laugh.

[Turtle]

This eye is blue,
similar to scorched cream & indigo.
A fractal mash & winter toes,
drilling into Earth.

Ordinals, cardinals, remainders or primes,
I like to see numbers in everyday rhymes.
First 1 then another how many times,
Once round the clock face brings on the chimes.

waiting for time to pass.
another simple quatrain,
for seven horses and the sky.

a shark hovers with the breeze above me in the trees,
weaving through a maze he's been predicting for a hundred days,
his tail trails behind him a thousand feet or so,
and like a deep sea jelly, oh do those trails glow.

flick a bic and light the bowl,
down in town i met a troll.
walk and talk, the sun won't rise,
all with time like some surprise.
