Re: Poems Of Any Length

Someday I'd like to know
if ever we were one.
That my mind was yours,
an understanding won.

Someday I dream to know,
that mankind will win,
a common vision for life
A new age begin.

Re: Poems Of Any Length

stop lights ablaze as rain follows,
through aged haze of concrete washed appolo's.
and here i am,
feet in sand, or ten thousand quarries of a night-time shore band.
spent-time hidden where the lifeguard's used to watch.

the song makes that jazzy change, and you're high again.
i made my way towards the end
of what we thought the world.
we simply conquered, ceased, and

continue.

the streets prior warned us of a hurricane
yonder yet tangible, i never even thought:
thinking otherwise is of consistency
i thought.

dennis' arm stretched his white sleeve
against the
inklike
onyx
mezzo
horizon(tal line indicating where the sky begins)
HOLE

omnipresent animated elecricity mutters Lo Freq
lightning bolts devour all hopes of stars tonight.
coral-rain-vessel-clouds.
pretend they the shadows of shadows
and run for your life.

laugh at how menacing it is to know,
the algorithm rhythmic flow.

currently unnamed, i wrote it about the night i had tonight. pretty odd.

Re: Poems Of Any Length

I peered out of the window as,
the Hurtz rolled down the street.
When suddenly I noticed,
a chill creep into my feet.

We drove that dusty old road,
that leads to the cemetery.
I stepped out onto the grass
and the casket began to carry.

There standing under that tent,
that gray old preacher man.
We sat that old casket down,
and preacher gave me his hand.

He began with an earnest prayer,
followed by a sermon that eve.
Many tears fell to the ground,
before it came time to leave.

I watched as all departed,
everyone to his own way.
And after standing there lonely,
witnessed the ending of the day.

I closed my eyes in sadness, for
I knew not whom they lay down.
When the knowledge suddenly hit me,
it was I they put in the ground.

Some words just really don't make much sense when you really think about them for long.
Toe...Toe...
Other words too like wooplictic & geranderalisation & visit.
These words are ruined for me now ever since I really thought about them for long...too long.
These some words it is just the better not to think about or if you have to when whizzing, keep it brief.
Especially wooplictic; that's a stone cracker.

I slipped in onto a cracked cool vinyl seat,
the old car alone sat weeks before; undriven.

It is the smell that transports me though,
jerked back scores of years; to Grandpa's car.

Up early...up early! Going to the farm with Grandpa!
Getting in that smelly old car on cool cracked vinyl seats,
beltless bouncing down dusty dirt through a sea of maize.

Then in a turn and stop and the only smell now is oil and earth,
racing for the windmill to dare who might climb and better see a sea.
Who better that than me on my cracked cool vinyl seat.

Re: Poems Of Any Length

song so lonely sung into the desert
but it's occurance
was
all,
into time and through space [my obsession with the dimensions]
and semantics and hi-lighters
criss crossing through the pages of this and that

UNIVERSE and hey look at that cool bass guitar

and
i'll get high and play with lighters
and
walk on bridges
and
think about the trees
and
feel the warmth of breeze
and
this is life
and
knowing this is why i stay, intertwined my mind is
with the worms that are crawling through simbas skull

yeah, that lions life was tragic
projected on a screen
a picture of motion
MOTION PICTURE

(equation) 6 billion humans all want the same thing(=)
6 billion bullets to the head
i'd laugh but i'd be dead once again
a place of non-place

THE BALANCE
the waves
the trite nutritional informational facts displayed in monotones on boxes
FOR EYES OR US?
the serving size for gnomes that smoke pipes
of the finest bonzai marijuana in all the land
i've seen them glide boots and language of confusion because my brain understands
the english language,
ojo
a little bit of spanish

pictures taken down
paintings packed away
empty walls abound
echoes of yesterday

boxes packed and sealed
bags filled up with things
didn't know how i'd feel
when the silence rings

only house i knew
from the time i was a child
helping Grandma leave
didn't know it would be so wild

loading up the truck
saying our goodbyes
the place she's been so long
tears fall from my eyes

didn't know it would hurt
didn't think that i'd cry
didn't dream that i would hear
the silence in her eyes

for my Grams, who left her home of 33 years and started over in a whole new place.
What courage, Grams! You are my inspiration!!

Beautiful thoughts;

Beautiful thoughts,
in memory life recalls.
Of sounds and smells, and
pictures on kicthen walls.

Of old wooden chairs,
and those who sat therein.
And smiles at Christmas,
from those who were givein.

Our loved ones in memory,
we hold fast this treasure.
For nothing in this life,
can give greater pleasure.
