Well, the truth is, I'm still trying to find out the status of the contract. It was to be announced yesterday. If ARES Corp won their piece of the CEV contract, then I go to work for them and I am a happy camper. If ARES did NOT win, then I have to stay with MDA Systems, who LOST their bid to work on the CEV, and I will be most unhappy.

I do know that Space-X won, and that ARES is teamed with them.
SpaceHab lost, and MDA was teamed with them.

ARES has gotta win. I just can't stand the idea of going back to work with MDA.

Oh, how droll, how witty. Yes, he is.

Well, I got the official news. ARES *lost* their bid on the CEV contract. Everybody in Houston is shocked, especially Boeing and ARES. Lockheed was the only well-known areospace cmpany to get even a piece of CEV. The rest went to relative unknowns, folks who have almost NO aerospace experience. Nobody understands how they got the contracts. Even the GOA is warning NASA that things are gonna get bad.

So, I'm stuck with MDA (and Jerry Lewis). I'll be doing bizzy-work for them for the next 6 months. Oh, well. Time to polish the resume and start looking outside the box.

Couild I put a picture of G.W.Bush in the bottom? As a patriotic gesture, of course. I could have the clock hands mounted right between his eyes. I'll need a picture of his face when his mouth curls up in that inane smile of his when his lips curl up on one side--like when he pronounces the word "tear-ists".

At least we know for sure that you are no more than six degrees of freedom away from someone who does. For myself, I am, and continue to be, hidden in plane view.

Georgie's Yale buddies -if or if not restricted to Skull & Bones - called him "The Lip". No less unlikeable is Clinton's head shake.
