I think that's the gist; more flexibility for social networking without interrupting the flow of threads. I gotta say though, I'd don't understand it all that well myself, I just use it.

The new albums & images functions are very cool, because any member can put in lots of photos and larger ones too, than with the old attachments and specail Gallery.

Just chatting is good too, and the only drawback I see so far is that I'm only good for so many words-per-day (WPD's) so that if socializing is up , scientizing must be down.
