"Perhaps a "burst of radiation or energy" from outside of the Shroud was responsible." Outside? What obtains if a piece of photographic film or paper meets light, no lens, whever the base?

This is "projection," the mechanism forming the Shroud of Uncle Al, plus conduction at touching points. An illuminated Earth globe and a paper sheet. Paper does nto stretch. The globe's paper image is distorted. Folding helps on the flats by concentrating distortion at the folds. Cutting into small regions scales down distortion. The Shroud of Turin is made of whole cloth.

Coins are trivially forged. The originals did not have great detail, plus 1000 years of aging and wear, compared to the resolution of the forgery. Forged atifacts would sell Church indulgences.

Great high school project! A bas relief negative master molds flat plaster positive thermal stamps. If somebody has talent, Worf from "Star Trek" has lots of facial detail. The control is a life mask. It won't work.

    Hey Tormod, Thanks for asking.

I'm doing well, but really busy as of late.

Haven't had much chance to read or post, but my schedule should let up in a week or so.

    Don.
