It's been 33 years sense I've been there and I probably wouldn't recognize the place now, but that time will always clear in my mind as one of the best two weeks in my life. I would like to go back ...... but I think to much time has past, it would not be the same and just like Oceanside Ca. (another fond memory of 30 some years ago) it just won't have the some appeal.

I know the feeling. There's something about the energy there that is so mellow, relaxing, and inviting. I've been a total of threed times now. Each time we stayed in Kona. My Uncle had a time share condo. He has sold his interest in it so I don't know if I'll ever go back. I'd sure like to though.

Thats pretty cool, I think that she would like like that, I know I would.
I was able to go to Hawaii for my 18th birthday and spent 13 days there, I had a chose of spending one week and going over to see the volcano or staying on the big island for an extra 6 days, I stayed for the extra time and learned how to surf, we got a kitchenette three blocks from the Hawaiian Hilton and had fresh pineapple every morning. (I could go on about this trip on of the best times of my life) I relay heated to leave I could have stayed there on that beach forever.

Yeah, we had a great time. On this trip my Uncle, Aunt, their two kids, both of my sisters and their kids, my Brother-in-law, me and my kids went in honor of my mother who had passed away several months earlier. She loved it there. There were 15 of us all together. We had a small ceremony outside the condo by the ocean, and we spread some of her ashes on a Hawaiian lai, and released it into the ocean.
