hi Maddog, Maggie has not responded back to my last message and has avoided answering my question about contacting OSHU. I am hoping that she will schedule the appointment and will sign back on and message me. I, like you, am concerned about her. She does not have a good support system with her family and friends and hence, her reaching out to us for answers. I am not a psychiatrist but have dealt with many schizophrenics and people suffering from neurological problems. I would wager that she has this disorder. With trial and error, she should be able to find a medicine that would help her.I offered to get her a referral to one of the doctors at this university, I will let you know if she contacts me.

I saw the other day the thread where some lady was hearing voice and the last post in it said it was closed since no longer necessary. Did that mean that the lady (Mary Ann I think?) went and got some help ? I was concerned for her safety.

Reading her post, she did not seem as lucid as my mother. Though I admit I am not a Psychological clinician. I don't want to start another thread either on such a sensitive subject.

She asked me a question which I didn't get to answer. If you are in contact with her or know where she can be reached, please let her know the answer to her question is that my mother didn't hear ringing in her ears (Tinitus), though I do.
I have most my life. I have actually gotten used to it.

I wish the best for her. Let her know that as well. Thank You.
