I find that a wilderness wagon doubles nicely as a coffee table.

It's official. I'm working PGxHealth doing lab support starting July 20th, and I'm very excited.

I start my job at Brookside Gardens next Monday July 13th (also my birthday!). This *should* just be a weekend job, and it'll need to be since I'm working my other job during the week.

I also just got back from my trip to Williamsburg, VA. I really think everyone should go there if they're interested in American History. This was my 4th time going to Colonial Williamsburg,...

Eeek. It's been far too long since I've last posted!
Anyway, my first year at university has been over for a month and a half.... and I've been doing essentially nothing. I have not been working, because the company I worked for last summer just got bought and isn't hiring interns this summer. Otherwise, I've been occupying my...

One of my Epiphyllum plants has been busy growing a bud.
This is very unusual, because the cutting is only a couple of months old, and it typically takes about 3 years before epis will flower. Now, many long-time growers recommend pinching off any buds that occur on plants under about 1.5 years old, because the production of a flower is VERY taxing on the plant.
I believe in letting nature take its course. If it can handle it, then it will go forward and I'll be treated to...

So I'm a little late posting this, but I've had my brand new Kindle 2 since Wednesday!

I don't really know what to say... other than it exceeds my expectations. It's really a fantastic gadget, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who's an avid reader.

Then again, in another year, they'll probably come out with K3. Such is modern technology.

Pictures to follow.
Cheers.

So, as I've mentioned, I bought Amazon's Kindle 2 moments after it was announced. It's release date is this Tuesday, Feb. 24.
But on Friday, a remarkable thing started happening. Some people (myself included) received notification that their Kindle had been shipped! Since then, others' have shipped also.

So, it would seem that Amazon has released it early to some buyers, so that it will be received on the release date. I emailed customer service to inquiry, and the rep confirmed...
