Wow, I'm jealous. (US Forest Service)
And I've always wanted to fly....I really really really would like to have an old Piper Cub. I grew up a stones throw from Lycomings engine plant and Piper.

Roger that. I'm findin' the 'good shape' thing, to be a bit of a challenge. I'm trying to work it up with some gardening.

Nice plane; I get the tail-dragger reference now. Maybe some pop-out glider wings for the wagons? That's all I got............

I have had a chance to do a quick review of the thread. Pretty interesting. It should work based on the kind of roads you intend to follow. I am very familiar with the kind of area you are talking about traveling in. You need to be in good shape and I would minimize the weight as you are doing. I'll see if I can spend a little more time soon and see if I have any specific suggestions.

Good to see you hangin' around still. Thanks for accepting the befriendment, and I'm wondering what you might think of my idea to camp from a wagon over here in the Cascades of SW Washington? (my latest scheme is ~post#75 this thread: >>http://hypography.com/forums/waterco...lity-tv-8.html) Take care, Tortuga Jorge.
