ahhh...the number theory has finally paid off-you went from 102 to 75 to 64, decreasing in age at a rapid rate-totally trashed the fourth dimension-my hero!

Before I dematerialized (code for get rid off stuff), I had a full-size print of Relativity which for many years I kept framed & hanging on the wall opposite the toilet. This in deference to the Ladies and allowing them twice the opportunities to view it as the Men and by not hanging it behind the stool so as to distract Men from focussing on what must needs be focussed on by Men in such circumstance.

Now in thinking of so many of Escher's works, I am hard pressed to name any as favorite. Two excellent books I've owned that I recommend:

M.C. Escher - Visions of Symmetry by Doris Schattschneider
    World of Escher Books

    and

(I think this was it?) Escher: The Complete Graphic Work by J. L. Locher, M. C. Escher
    050027696X: "Escher : The Complete Graphic Work" by J. L. Locher, M. C. Escher @ BookFinder.com

Alas I dematerialized them so no going to check for a favorite.

He is a fascinating character in so many regards. He invented his own descriptions and terms for all the possible symmetry(s) before anyone in mainstream mathematics rigorously did so, and yet he did it in order to further his art. i don't recall the source, but i once heard the image held by the man in Belvedere described as a 'box for holding optical illusions.' so it is.
