Conversation Between Turtle and pamela

hey pal, i am craving a new thinimal-give it up!

fifteen blank canvases would be my undoing. the piece took me 10 hours spread out over 6 days in 15 to 20 minute increments. this time i made a special die to cut the squares, but i didn't keep track of how long that took. couple days i guess. time to decompress; i'm all discombobulated.

last time i got a good dealon canvases was at an auction.I got so crazed with the excitement, i actually was bidding against myself! the auctioneer was loving it! we laughed so hard.I ended up getting several of different sizes, maybe 15 in all for 5 bucks! never find another deal like that again

just so, during my absence not only did hearts grow fonder, i made some new art. a week ago a friend called me from a store saying she found an 18x24 artist's canvas for $7 & would i want it. hell yeah! that's a third of what i usually pay. but then i can't stand a blank canvas, fall is in the air, obsessive is as obsessive does, and yada yada yada new art of the gessoed tissue paper on stretched canvas with mod-podge finish kind. . . . . . . .

what? you were here and i missed you? dang! oh well, i will wait, i would rather have my turtle than his things-wait a minute, there was that thinimal i had my eye on

turtle is currently engaged in original work afield. by all means help yourselves to any of his stuff you can lay your hands on during his absence. . . . .
