New mods and admins
We've added a lot of new moderators and a few mods have moved up to administrator level. You can keep up with who does what at our View Forum Leaders page. A huge thank you to the staff who help make our science forums the best forums!

Slightly changed forum structure
We have split the science forums into three new categories: Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Philosophy.
Interesting things coming up!
We are planning a new classifieds section which we have dubbed "Swap & Shop". The purpose is to have a place for forum members to sell, buy, and swap books, software and a lot of other stuff. I know I have tons of books I want to swap or even give away, so look out for this new section soon. If you have any input on this, please post in our Feedback forum!

As you may have noticed (well, it's been a top story on our portal page for a while) I am involved in a project called Musicians for Katrina Relief CD Project. One of my own tracks is on the CD, which will only be made in 500 copies. We are putting together a double CD, professionally mastered and produced, with more than 40 tracks by musicians world-wide. All the profits will be split between the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity, who are working in New Orleans, the City of Jazz.
