We reached 100,000 posts!
Dear $username -
100K Milestone!
It's astonishing how fast Hypography is picking up speed. A mere 16 months ago we had less than 10,000 posts - today we passed 100,000. A t-shirt will be drawn among those who participated in the "100,000 posts" thread and suggested at what time we would actually hit the mark.
The member with the 100,000th post, however, was Turtle. Good work Turtle!
At this rate we will pass 200,000 posts in the fall and climg on towards the first million. A huge thanks from myself, the Hypography mods and admins, and editors, to everyone who is participating in our wonderful science community.
Turtle Print Auction coming up
Talking about Turtle - everyone who has been hanging around Hypography for a while know that he's a great artist who creates stunning prints from his mathemagical calculations. Turtle has donated a number of prints to Hypography, and on May 17 we will open an auction where you can bid on a print. All the proceeds from this auction will be donated to a charity which will be announced later.
Why May 17? Because that is the day on which Hypography - Science for everyone turns 6 years! With the quiz contest, the charity auction, and some other surprises in store, it will be a great time to hang around the forums.
