Why all the fuss? I mean it is sort of like saying left vs. up. They are orthogonal to one another. Many have to use the right mix of both to get where they need to go in life. But one usually does not confuse the two. I mean, where is the faith in needing scientific proof of your religion? Is this not a sign of your lack of faith? Is this not a sign of your acceptance that all belief must be scientifically rationalized?

I used to be faithless... and my faith didn't include a higher power...

It accounts for the fact that through Evolution, an Entity CAN have overwhelming power in the universe... and through the Laws of Probability I believe that their are Higher entities 'helping Us along'
