I am personally aware that it is easy (under some circumstances) to "fool myself", so that (for a moment at least) it appears that I can see around the curtains and props of reality and get a glimpse of The Substructure. {heavy organ chords played here}
But I always find sufficient evidence that I was fooling myself--which can be entertaining in a way, I suppose, but I don't want to live like that. The Substructure is, after all, a fantasy or a misinterpretation.
