because what happens after humans go extinct? perhaps there will be another culture or race of beings that will label these ammounts with their own symbols...

no matter what the symbol is the value is still the same. jut like hello in english and hallo in german still mean hi. six or sechs or whatever it is in spanish is still 6. even if its like &*&

Another big bang could possibly create a universe with new dimensions.

new dimensions could mean ANYTHING.

it may not be possible to create a new counting system- depending on how the dimensions come out.

Or maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe number ARE constant.

but who really knows?

if it was possible to create a universe with no such thing as numbers- how would a race of beings so number oriented be able to comprehend it?

i do. philosophers believe numbers exist outside of our universe. so big bang or no big bang, numbers are still there.
Numbers are weird.
another big bang would be weird.
anything is possiable though you know, anyone'd be ignorant to totally shut out any possiablities.
