FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real)

Supposedly we live better than 95% of people on this planet (living in the united states, or maybe is california+US. But yeah, anyways...when i heard this claim, i asked by what standard, define living better? Is it our money and materials, becuase people are a lot happier without them, your materials own you. I freak out if my internet or computer isn't working, its pathetic. :-/ i dunno what do you think

I think it means we and others such a mexicans and those from "less prosperous" nations*1 are lead to believe ( by ourselves the media ans the govt.) that we are a prosperous nation because of our possessions. While the truth is that the banks own most of them, and large portion of our society barely makes enough to live on. (are at poverty level @ an inflation adjusted income rather than the poverty income level determined in 1980 that the govt. still uses as the guideline.)

*1-(Please note I mention mexicans because they are willing to risk their lives for a shot af the american dream. No discrimination or bigotry is intended. I personally believe that we should open our borders to them and their govt. should allow americans to seek work there freely if they choose as this would benifit both sides in the long run )

I share you dreams, not to gloat but my business is glassblowing. I would like to expand into ceramics, metal casting and forging as well. I am in the process of rebuilding with sawdust/woodchip/waste wood technology because of the rising price of natural gas. It was my wifes idea to blow glass so I built her a studio. My dream was to continue prizefighting until I was rich but it did not work out. Let me know if you have any questions on the glass side of your dreams.

I have an aunt that earns her living doing crafts, refurbishing old furniture, and occasionally old homes. She makes just enough to live on but she is very happy (she says she prefers her life this way it's uncluttered simple and uncomplicated. She travels alot sometimes for jobs sometimes for missionary work. Has no use for TV or radio the only radio she owns came with her car! I envy her greatly she is able to do what she loves and thats enough!

Happy is where it is at.

Funny thing there is a comercially available doggie translator (the japanese came up with it I think.)
