Fear should be diminished

Fearlessness may be a gift but perhaps more precious is the courage acquired through endeavour, courage that comes from cultivating the habit of refusing to let fear dictate one's actions, courage that could be described as 'grace under pressure' - grace which is renewed repeatedly in the face of harsh, unremitting pressure.....Daw Aung San Suu Kyi

Financial system of a country is the most important to stand in the global market today. However, this is true for those, which has already been independent. On the other spectrum of those countries, minority ruled by communists and military regimes make me vormit and political system is far more important than any others. It is not power that corrupts but fear.

Re: Fear should be diminished

Interesting insight, insight.

When my kids are scared to do or try something I tell them that everyone is scared. The bravest people are scared. Even dad is scared. Being brave means you are scared but you do it anyway. Bravery is not absence of fear, it is action in spite of fear.

The oppressed of the world have their destiny in their own hands. Unfortunalty those who oppress do not go away easily, and often have many advantages on their side. Money, technology, troops, prisons, legal systems.

But the power of the human being when he sees the opportunity for freedom, for himslef and for his family, is unparalled as an ally. And has proven time and again through history to prevail in the end.

Bill

Re: Fear should be diminished

Freedom of individual is essential for democratic movements. Fear insists us to overcome the dictatorship and they're getting ruling the state notoriously. In this situation, do you think that fear from freedom is sucking us? prolongs from generation to generation?

Re: Fear should be diminished

A lot of people mistake courage for simple lack of awareness (What was said about instinctual fear saving us from danger). True courage is to know what you're afraid of but to act anyway, to overcome something that maybe even more frightening to you (The loss of your kids, country, life - not just the threat of it: Act or you're gone anyway).
