Hey,
Is an "electron volt" the same as a typical "1.5 V battery" type of volt?

Re: eV

No, a volt is a volt and an electronvolt is a volt times the charge of one electron. The charge of a single electron is tiny, so 1 eV is a tiny amount of energy.
