Math hand books

I am looking for websites that contain math formulae. If you have a math formula, how do you know it is a new or not?

Thanks,

Cindy

I don't know about new or not but I use 2 references for math, MathWorld mentioned by MortenS above and "Handbook of Mathematics" by Bronshtein and Semendyayev, ISBN 3871446440

Red face Re: Math hand books

___Now recycled, I used to have a math handbook relating to the technical trades, eg. gear ratios, load bearing cooeficients, pulleys, etc. A good source of these books is book shops, book sales, and so forth.

Re: Math hand books

nothing is however complete; the best would always be to ask an expert in the field if something is new or not
