Great stuff - I don't believe you stumbled over this "a couple of days ago", though.

Not that I understand any of it...do you mind giving us a brief explanation of why this notation is different than the standard one?

If you put up a link to Hypography I'll add your site to our mathematics category.

RE: Graphic technique for math problem solving

Hello Tormod:
Ok... It is true ... I am the creator of this stuff ... :-)
I can put you a link in http://www.mind-graph.net/events.htm pr5
My datas:
http://www.mind-graph.net/mind-graph.htm
Mind Graph : graphiclanguage to solve problems
graphic technique for problem solving formath, programming, studyng, note-taking and brainstorming.

About this method ...
The first thing that you should know is that you begins putting the topic on the center of the paper
The center can be a word, a drawing, a sentence, etc
You can developing that central topic with the help of questions (arrows)
The growth of the drawing is from the center to the periphery
It has 3 elements: the boxes, the arrows and the extensions lines
The extensions lines and the boxes are very similar semantically
The boxes are to store the information
The arrows are to extract information (like a function)

I was a little busy this days because I put all the things free of charge.

Best Regards
Angel S.P.

Simple. I use an Industry Standards Compliant browser, Mozilla. It, like Netscape (Mozilla is an Open Source version) and Opera, are designed to work with any and all web sites that follow W3 Industry Standards. IE, which is a discontinued product, does not follow Industry Standards.

What I mean by BLANK, is that when I go to your site, I get a BLANK window.

NOTHING!

When you design a web site, unless you only want a limited percent of Net users to view your site, you need to try various browsers to see what others will see.

I suggest you go to:

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.w3.org/
">http://www.w3.org/
</a>

They also have a "Validator" service which checks your site for errors.

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://validator.w3.org/
">http://validator.w3.org/
</a>

It shows that the first thing it hits is a re-direct

The URL you gave me, <,"><a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.mind-graph.net>,]http://www.mind-graph.ne">http://www.mind-graph.net>,</a>[/L] returned a redirect to <<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://
">.[/B
]http://www.mind-graph.net/mind-graph.ht">http://www.mind-graph.net/mind-graph.htm>.[/b</a>

and 9 errors.

Encoding: utf-8
Doctype:
Errors: 9
