Soho catches gigantic sun flare: what are these waves?

I was looking at this beauty picture today when I noticed some strange looking waves around the sun, only showing up where the thick flairs are visible.

I assumed it was the SOHO telescope creating those effects, but I had'nt noiced it before untill such a large looking flare a perpendicular angle.

Is this gravity waves finally?

That is ginormous by anyone's standards! Good catch Arkain! It is the Sun's magnetic field forming those loops along field lines; think metal filings on paper over a magnet.
