Excellent opportunity for a software biased mass spectrometrist with a strong IT/technical background. You will provide software support and training to field based engineers on a range of Mass Spectrometry instruments. When software and general IT problems are encountered in the field, your expertise will be called on to diagnose and fix “problems” in a timely manner. The work will be primarily telephone based – with the occasional visit to customer sites. Candidates will need at least 5 years experience of software/IT/Mass Spec and be natural problem solvers with a logical mind and a propensity for troubleshooting.
