Re: keeping warm

with the fire you would have to stand up and keep rotating, can you imagine sitting on the ground - your arse would freeze! Body warmth would be much more effective I think, plus the fire could run out.

Re: keeping warm

Or get psycological warmth.

There is an old legendary story very popular in India, about the Emperor Akbar and his minister Birbal. It goes by the name "Birbal ki Khichrii"

The ultimate presciption, is to visualize a fire, a burning matchstic will do, and imagine its energy flowing into your body.

Re: keeping warm

It may just be my contempt for traditional legends coming out, but I'd rather take a physical fire over a psychological one...

Reminds me of Quai Chang Kain in Kung Fu... doesn't matter where you put him, his Shaolin training allows the fire within to grow and grow.

Tough call on the vote though... where's the "both" option?

Re: keeping warm

And... is this "artic hut" made of ice, like an igloo? If so, then clearly a fire is not the best option.
