Separation of Religion and State

The founding fathers separated church and state to limit the affect of lobbying by religious leaders. This made it easier for lobbyists with more worldy agendas to influence our elected officials. This was a positive improvement. Over the past couple of decades the original intent has been twisted to include petty things.

There is a petty thing that was overlooked. Do we need to get rid of AD and BC from our recording or time since both of these refer to Christ? If we do and can not use the time of Christ to zero time, where should the zero point begin? The BB, the creation of the earth, when life appears, the first culture, the Declaration of Independence?

Hypography?
