The major drawback with an IV WD is the lack of palatial pleasure...

Well, an IV tree is typically on wheels so one could still move around. Or else you could come up with some sort of IV back pack.

I just don't think you're going to get very far with an IVWD.

I guess that's really your point isn't it?

I think Tormod meant "palatal".

Ahhh! Yep, I believe you're right about that. That actually makes more sense doesn't it? Sorry.

Talking Re: Looking for Ideas: How would you engineer a sex den?

I am female, and prefer rounded lines. I dated a carpeter for awhile, whose cupboards had rounded rather striaght lines, and I thought the effect was very sensuous. He focused on quality instead of quantity and this impressed me well.

I rather have the comfort of a regular bed, reverses a circlar one, however, a canopy adds to the attractiveness of a bed.

There are some excellent murals, or you can create your own. Nature is appealing, and Venus is attractive. Pan, surely has his appeal. A bathroom that embraces nature and spills it into the bedroom works for me, as do sky lights, or glass doors that open to a naturally pleasing area.

Lighting and music are also important, and I like idea of changing the lighting and music, because when we aproach sex, we like fantasy and variety. At least I do. Somedays it is nice to relax, and sometimes excitement is more pleasing. How hard would it be to use lighting and music for mood setting? There are fog lamps and many lighting choices.

Pocket doors.
Those are always a cool addition to any room.

Re: Looking for Ideas: How would you engineer a sex den?

if i have learned anything from my wife and romantic bedroom design it is this. Things must be difficult to navigate through (this means LOTS of various decorations scattered ervywhere in any order, but it does have a certain "flow").

the bed (or anything you are "using") cannot squeek! the biggest turn off, for me, is having to fix some damn thing that broke when your in the middle of, whatever! there must be lots of places to place pictures of you and her.

if its hard to clean, its romantic. if its ugly as sh*t and looks liek something you would have bought stoned 20 years ago, its romantic. and if it as a funky-old-sweet smell (i don't mean our laundry), it romantic.

personally i find the wavy wall type design cool and bathroom designs that involve natural themes like rock, trees, wood etc are a big + cool water jets and stuff are good too.

for me romantic is more like this hotel we stayed at when my parents visited us in Taiwan (not the best choice)...i will spare the pictures of all the tv's in this place that were playing porn when we came inside

infinite, what age bracket is this meant for? some people may prefer fancy designs, rocks, waterfalls etc....some of the more "mature" members here may prefer sandstone foot grips and wooden handrails...

one thing is for sure, i am totally not into have the chain long enough for the hole LOL

Re: Looking for Ideas: How would you engineer a sex den?

That's great. Thanks everyone. Ganoderma... I think that's a bit beyond the scope of the project, but it definitely gave me some great ideas. Thanks!
