Re: help

I think you need to be slightly more informative. What are you interested in? What would you like to work on?

Re: help

You need to give us a lot more information -- about yourself and the expectations of the science fair.

What grade are you in? A 9th grade project will be totally different than a senior project.

What kind of science fair is this? Regional? State? National?

How much time do you have? Months? Weeks? If you have only days before the competition, then... well... forget it.

What about science or technology interests you the most?

Have you ever read a science fiction story that you learned something from?

Do you like to build gadgets or fix cars or do woodworking or knit or draw? What craft skills do you have? What physical skills do you have? (skateboarding, dancing, baseball, etc.)

If you're really serious about doing a science fair project, then this is where to start. Do your best at answering these questions.

1) Joule-Thompson liquefaction of compressed nitrogen.
2) Ranque-Hilsch Wirbelrohr (and discard the hot stream).
3) Run a Bunsen burner backwards for air conditioning.
4) Grow brewer's yeast then 99% death under a germicidal UV sunlamp. Repeat a few dozen generations. Does the yeast evolve into a more UV-resistant strain? Cf: "Samuel Adams" Utopias yeast and alcohol concentration.
5) Do plants grown in a running centrifuge look different?
