Need help in Time theory project

Im helping my little sister that is in middle school come up with a science project on why some days feel longer than others. I read about this before but i forgot where i read it at online and i wanted to know if anyone here can help me in finding out the scientific fact behind this. I been searching on google since this morning and thought to add my quest here incase any one knows.

Just an FYI: I'm referring to the sense on personal feel. There are some days you go to work, you do the same thing every work day, nothing different but some how some days goes feels it goes longer than others. What I can remember that I read was that some time the temperature of the room can affect the way the days goes in terms of time. We may feel that hours have pass but it only been one hour and so on.
