Science Fair Project

I need the best science fair project you can come up with. Preferably with chemicals, I need to get at least the best in the district so I don't want any simple demonstration and if you don't have one in chemistry then any other subject would be fine and please I know its a lot to ask but I might get into a better school so please.

That's a pretty broad request, haloman. Have you searched our forums for ideas? Do you have a particular area on which you want to focus? The reason this type of thing helps you get into better schools is because they like to see students who are creative and hard working.

What do YOU think you want to do? Maybe we could help a particular idea along...

You could do an investigation into the strength of polymers. Using different chemicals, you could make various polymers and test the relative strengths (tensile strength, elasticity, plasticity). You could then investigate the reasons for these characteristics using chemical structure.

That seems like a good idea but I really don't know what chemicals to use. I know that my father has some that I could make into a glue but I don't know of any others, so do you have any suggestions for me.
