I would like to befriend my female colleagues…something which I am somehow unable to do. There are some women in my office I find attractive and would like to date them. But I have to get familiar before I do that. How do I approach them? Any help?

You could host a dinner party and invite all of your colleagues. It would be a great way to get to know them.

Of course, dating a colleague can be treacherous if things go sour and you still have to work with them.

hmmmnn.... I have found that friendly but not familiar is best in the working environment. Your worlds will inevitably collide on many different levels. Not only will there be a problem if you and the sought after break up, but mumurings amongst coworkers will be present in all phases of that relationship. Your attention very well may be distracted from your work and your performance can be affected.Keeping a light friendly atmosphere over lunch will allow the team to interface but i would recommend leaving it at that.

I work with all women in our office, 8 of them and me being the only guy. Be freinds with all of them, but do not date anyone. Good advice, put youre job before you're sex drive.

1. Be honest
2. Be yourself
3. If 1 and 2 seem like they just won't cut it, then how about you brainstorm on some approaches you think may work, run it by us (or others), and we may be of further assistance. Then again, we may not. Best if you allow it to come through you and trust your self.
