Kepler Telescope

The Kepler spacecraft to search for earthlike planets will be launched in 2008.

Kepler Mission

It will be looking in the Cygnus region of the Milky Way.

maybe in a few years we'll be able to have more ideas for posts in the colonizing space thread...




and i love the fact that the probe is designed around a mid 20th century coal scuttle
