You're absolutely correct ! I have 0 evidence of any alien presents. Nothing to study just pure conjecture, and speculation. It is a level playing field for all to play and imagine and write stories and make movies. It is to me a study of modern mythological tendencies prompted by the vastness of space . Mankind will always fill these voids with what he most fears and desirers. These mythologies are just that, simply because they have not yielded anything that we did not already have to begin with.

Ok Ok Ok, lets look at this in a reasonable way (evidently Murphy's law works for aliens too!) what would constitute evidence of UFOs being alien space ships, seriously? Let me know what you want as evidence. The motivation of aliens is intrinsically inscrutable (say that ten times real fast!) to say aliens would be interested in something suggests you know the mind of an alien, this is unlikely. And yes people of our civilization are interested in Eskimo stone spears and lots of other primitive stuff so just saying that advanced people wouldn't be interested forgets that we too are curious about the primitive. so these aliens might be the group of specialists looking to study primitive weapons or TV shows or sporting events. It all boils down to how difficult is it to travel to the earth from where they originate. If it's much easier than we think then aliens might visit to study comparative masturbation for all we know but if it as difficult as we think it is then any visit at all is highly unlikely.

Here something I just found, Carl Jung wrote a book about UFO's !

Jung used the term "myth" to mean a sacred story which reflects deep inner needs of a community of believers and which justifies some important action that they take. The myths of the ancient Greeks are just strange tale to us because we no longer see the sacred shrines and religious ceremonies whose existence they justified.


Jung notes that the first "flying saucer" stories appeared in 1947, two years after the first atomic bombs were exploded. They appeared at a time when there was great fear of a war between the United States and the Soviet Union. (Note that the most important of the early "flying saucer" stories happened near Roswell, New Mexico, not far from Alamogordo where the very first atomic bomb was tested.) In 1949, the Soviet Union exploded its own atomic bomb and the fear of war became even greater.




But Jung says that modern science has made most people too skeptical about supernatural beings to see the traditional mythological images. Since we live in an age of science and technology, we interpret the new signs in the sky as machines from a world with a technology more advanced than ours.

I do not know the mind of alien, but I do like studing the mind of man, and if I where going to make up a story that I intended to be taken seriously as a good one, I would try to keep all the elements cohesive within the story as well as relevent to the times. This is why I love sci-fi and ancient stories of creatures from heaven and hell. Its the same stuff however just a change of costumes.

Jung is misinformed, UFOs/flying saucers have been around for a very long time. Alexander the great was followed by silver shields that dove at his army and later helped him destroy a city wall. Medieval paintings depict nuts and bolts UFOs and even reports from antiquity are not all described as angels or gods or demons. even during the time of Pharaohs unexplained sights in the sky were not assumed to be gods or angels. The concept of technological UFOs has been around for a very long time.

Exactly where do you expect to find UFO information? Possibly restaurant web sites?

T-Bird, if you are looking to find a neutral web site about UFOs good luck. All you get is debunker's and true believers in my estimation neither one can really be completely trusted when it comes to conclusions. all you can do is read the information and decide if it says what they say it says. In some of these cases you have the actual paintings in others all you have is documented writings from that era. the best you can do is make your own decisions and don't let their conclusions lead you on.
