Total Lunar Eclipse Wednesday

It will be an especially good one! Long duration, deep shadow, relatively clean Earth atmosphere for a nice reflected red glow.

too bad, looks like this isnt really for the eastern states : (

well... remembered from last year, I tried to catch the sight of Eclipse, but the weather... totally a mess, clouds all over, couldnt even see a bit.

I have mistaken, apologized, and taken the consequences. My only regret, was for how I was bothered by the unchangable.

RE: Total Lunar Eclipse Wednesday

Very cool, Uncle Al. We're all set to see it here in Virginia. My oldest son is really interested in anything dealing with space, and a lunar eclipse is a rare treat indeed.
Thanks

It was really awesome. The sky was incredibly clear, the weather was not too cold, and it lasted long enough for everyone to get more than a few good looks at it. But the best part of all was seeing the look on my oldest son's face when the moon actually looked reddish brown at full eclipse - he was just amazed! Priceless! If ever there were a candidate to visit Uncle Martin in Alabama for Space Camp, this boy is it!
