Blue Sky at Night

so, i was walking down my driveway at roughly eleven o'clock pacific standard time, and on the horizon i see a breif flash. there were very few clouds in the air at it certainly wasnt raining, but at the moment i shrugged the flash off as lightning, without really thinking about the circumstances. then, a few moments following the flash, i hear a sound like a bag of cans being thrown, only amplafied majorly. then, a brighter flash, this one lighting up the sky with a beautiful electric blue, like daytime only more neon in nature. then, another crashing sound.

moments later my friend pulls up and upon getting in the car i ask him about it. he had seen it too. WAY strange.

Interesting.........Do you know if there were any earth quakes registered that particular evening? Discharges of strange lights and other peculiar phenomenon have been associated with these events for many years..................Infy

any idea which direction it came from?

i never noticed any flashes or sounds around that time, but i might've been inside.

since you live in san jose, i was standing in from of my house and it apeared to occur on the horizon down almaden expressway near where the drive-in theatre is. i dont nessesarily think it was AT the theatre though.
