Talking Is the passover a true story?

The passover started when Moses was in Egypt where the Jews/Israelites were slaves. To free the Jews/Israelites, God killed every firstborn in the land of Egypt except the firstborn of households with blood painted on the outside of the house. This was the origin of the passover!

Is there any evidence this story is true?

Talking Re: Is the passover a true story?

Is there any evidence it's not a true story?

BTW,
To me it seems the best way to free the israelites is to teleport them out of Egypt. That way God wouldn't have to take revenge out on the Egyptians because of Pharoh's decision (which isn't really fair)!

Also, there's one God but three in one:- The father, the son & the holy spirit.
Are they of one mind or three individual minds?
If they are of one mind would this mean that Jesus would have some responsibility for the killing of all First Born in Egypt?
(& how does this compare with Herod killing all the children in Bethlehem?)

There doesn't need to be evidence that it's NOT true, there needs to be evidence that it IS true.

I can make peoples heads explode with my mind. Hey, there's no evidence that it's not true, so it MUST be true.

Now, I ask you to take a moment and consider the above statement.

Can you not see the myriad reasons why it is utter nonsense?

It is important to remember that three major religions: judaism, muslim and christianity hold the old testament as part of their religious works. Only one, christianity, claims that God is "three in one". So the concept of three-in-one is a later addition, and is largely irrelevant to the God of Abraham.

Sorry Switchy,
This is simply not true.

God’s best bet would be to create a clone of the Pharaoh alike in every way except one: the clone would be sympathetic to the Israelites cause. God could then sneak the cloned doppelganger into the Pharaoh’s palace James Bond style (being mindful not to alert any guards) and make the switch. Come to think of it - it probably would be best if God gave the clone some martial arts skills in order to get into the palace unscathed and kill the old Pharaoh himself. Yeah, God could train him in aikido or jujitsu. I’m not sure which is better - aikido or jujitsu, but God would know. That’s the point. God could make an unstoppable aikido/jujitsu killing machine. Did I mention the clone is actually a machine? I probably should have mentioned that. The doppelganger-aikido-jujitsu-clone is actually half human / half mechanized indestructible titanium alloy cyborg with a terminator style Schwarzenegger accent. His only mission is to terminate the old pharaoh, take his place, and set the Israelites free.

Wait a minute, this is insane!

Why wouldn’t God just send his terminator clone back in time to kill the pharaoh’s mother before the pharaoh is ever born. Now that is freakin’ foolproof.
