And there's also this one, which is perhaps my favorite, where the book of Ecclesiastes describes the hydrologic cycle:

Eccl. 1:7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

With the discovery of the hydrologic cycle being credited to Copernicus in 1475 AD, how did this knowledge sneak into the Bible?
