Travel Forum?

I just thought that it might be cool to add a forum here for travel. While I wouldn't call 'travel' a science....cultural studies is. In the 'Travel Forum' we could discuss our experiences on our ventures, however long we are gone or how far we go. Thoughts?

Re: Travel Forum?

Maybe opening a poll would be good, if others are interested? I am not really sure how to go about this kind of thing...

Re: Travel Forum?

that's an interesting idea...
what would this fall under?

social sciences?
geography?

seems like a hybrid to me,
i like it.

I also think this is a good idea, although my travel experience is confined to the U. S. i have had some rather unusual trips.
what type of travel were you thinking about? cool places you've been or the way you got there?
I once hitchhiked a ride on a Lear jet from Denver Co. to Sacramento Ca.

Yes I can testify to that you can meet some very colorful people on a long bus trip.
