May I enquire as to why you do not allow a sig until you have 10 posts? This is the first forum where I have encountered these types of rules. For example I was not allowed to read an attachment until I had posted at least once. I am interested in the reasons for rules

Welcome!

We have those rules because of spammers signing up only to post links.

And believe me, we're not the only board with such rules - they are pretty standard nowadays.

It's not that hard to reach ten posts - w should have neough interesting threads to participate in. Among the "lighter" once are those you can find in the Books, movies, games forum, or the Polls forum - or the Watercooler which is a safe bet.
