I believe the 4 links above the images show you precisely that, what's new, what's popular, search, etc... and are in no way connected to the images below them. Or else under my profile, under the what's new would be the pic of the storm in winnipeg. Also, if they were random, they would change with each refresh... (meaning they shouldn't be cached).
Of course the latter is just an assumption without actually looking at the plugin's code. |
