scienceforums.com has some funny threads though.

This one made me giggle - I think it is the way they try and appear knowledgable and then spout a load of garbage.
A pity about the spelling of knowledgeable, although it is a tough one.

PS
I just noticed this is really ancient history- 2004
So has everyone kissed and made up now?

Re: Bad blood between Science Forums? How come?

There was never a discussion between the two forums on this topic. I don't think there is any "ill will" between the managers of the two boards (in fact, I have never been contacted by them and they have not contacted me).

Scienceforums.net claim to be the "original" science forums, which is fine but wrong (we launched before them). But who cares? They have a very good science forum, and so do we. There is room for many.

Re: Bad blood between Science Forums? How come?

I'm a regular participant at both and regularly communicate with their admins. I'm aware of no ill will among management, only the various members that get banned here or there.

Re: Bad blood between Science Forums? How come?

I'm also not aware of any "bad blood".

It's different strokes for different folks. The two forums are run in different styles. Some people like visiting both equally. Others prefer one or the other.
