Feedback on the upgrade?

I would like to get some input from you folks about what you think about the new upgrade. Was it worthwhile? Do you find the new features good? Anything you miss?

Overall I likey lots. Several fuctions are faster and smoother. I do however miss the numeric display of activity near the top of the old home screen and I continue to recieve an 'error loging off' message and have to 'click here' to finish. My only real challenge is figuing out how to do all the things I wish to do as they come up. So far such things have be relativly straight forward. Thanks for your good work!

Where to start???

New forums are great, as expected. It will take me some time, as Lee mentioned, to learn how to do some of the stuff. But hey, it will be fun to learn.

Again, as Lee mentioned, your hard work is greatly appreciated. Of course, if I were to start writing nice things about YOU, we'd need a whole new thread, and lots of space... you just know how much I adore you, T!!!

Many of the other forums I go to use the same or very similar software, so it was more like coming home rather than learning something new (not that it would be a problem anyway). The upgrade was a great idea and it worked smoothly I think.

I am not sure what you are thinking about here.

I think it is related to a problem deleting the cookie or something. I also get it now and then but it has never caused me any real problems like not being able to log back in or anything like that.

Thanks! The activity has really surged in the past weeks, too, so I gather people are happy with it.

I just hope people also notice that our front page has changed, too - http://www.hypography.com/ - it now looks like the forums but has news instead of posts. (Or rather, will soon have news...)

I came in after the upgrade, so I don't know how it compares, but it was very intuitive to use, I had no problems that couldn't be answered with the FAQ.

Like prgmdave, I apparently don't know what it was like beforehand. I do like the look
and feel.

I would like something though. Would be nice if the two forums Physics and Mathematics
were considered separate. I understand that a new Moderator would be needed, so I
understand if not possible.
